Wing Night
Tuesday night, so much work needed to get done before I could venture out of my house. Six pages of feminist research and critique needed to be written or else my night was going to end abruptly. Getting home from class around 3:45pm I had about four or five solid hours to do my research and write a legitimate paper I knew I would be satisfied with. Working feverishly as my roommates tried to coerce me to take a break, watch Seinfeld, have a few beers and relax I knew I was on track for getting my assignment done. My main goal was to finish my paper around 7:30 so I could have time to eat dinner and then prepare to go to Casey's for some hot wings and a few beers. I finished my paper as planned. Ten of Ten rolls around and Bryan and I decide to get in the truck and make our way to Wakefield. As the clock struck ten we arrived in the parking lot, surprised to see how many people had already arrived so early. We get in without any complication and immediately see my friends Dave and Pat sitting at the bar finishing up their food and drinks. Without even asking they tell us to take their seats at the bar and good thing we did because they were limited. The restaurant was packed with an older crowd not just college students. The smell of hot sauce and perfume masked the air as a number of beautiful women pass back and forth. We ordered 40 wings and six Coors Lights, we came to do one thing and we got right to it. Sharing a few wings and laughs with various friends and acquaintances during our hour long stay, it was time to go home. The wings and cold beer hit the spot and proved to be another successful Wing Night at Casey's Bar and Grille.
