Last weekend was total chaos. A trip back home to Worcester Ma has never steered me wrong and when you combine my friends with Tammany Concert Hall, your always asking to have a good time. It was Thursday afternoon and I had gotten out of class by 3:15, these three day weekends are working out very nice I might add. I rushed back to Gansett to get my belongings and then took off for hockey practice in Warwick. After practice it was about 8pm before I began my trek home down Rt 146, but it was worth it. My buddies Rem and JP had an ice cold beer waiting upon my arrival and then we began our night, telling stories, sharing laughs and listening to great tunes. The band Jimmy's Chicken Shack and DPR were performing, two excellent reggae bands I had seen before with no regrets. After putting a few drinks down the hatch, 11PM rolled around and we decided it was time to make the walk to Pleasant St., a mere 15 minute walk that seemed like it was forever. The show was amazing, totally worth the $10 cover and $2 Narragansett Tall Boys I had embellished in for the three hours we were all there. Sitting, drinking, and shooting the sh*t with the band DPR, it was time for all of us to sober up and make the trip home. The night didn't stop there as we had to make our routine stop at the Boulevard Diner on Shrewsbury St. for a late night/early morning breakfast which was ohhhh soo delicious. Bacon, eggs, homefries and toast I could have ate until I was sick. It was time for bed and rest up for golf the next morning. I needed a lot of advil or a miracle If I was going to wake up ready to play. Luckily things worked out and we had another successful night in good old Worcester.
